Unity Programmer with 3+ Years of C# experience

About the Position
As our Unity Programmer, you will have the responsibility of dealing with advanced programming tasks as well as working closely with other programmers and developers providing feedback and solutions related to C# and Unity. You will be tasked with developing features and tools in Unity while maintaining high coding standards.
The Responsibilities
- Developing the systems that our games are based on to enable functionality and gameplay
- Being able and responsible for keeping the codebase up to date, readable and expandable
- Developing tools to make the work of level designers and other developers easier
- Gameplay programming including enemies, AI, weapons and more
- Participating in the process for writing optimized coding and optimizing the systems and scripts to ensure the game runs smoothly
Your Profile
We see you as a person with a minimum of 3 years of programming experience within the video games industry working extensively with Unity. Alternatively, you have worked with C# and software development in adjacent or related industries but with a deep insight into Unity and its systems. You need to be able to take a system (like savegames or combat) from idea to fully fleshed out codebase. Beyond this you need to have experience both with systems programming and gameplay programming and feel comfortable switching between the two. You will have to be able to communicate efficiently and effectively in both verbal and written English, as well as with a degree of empathy and patience.
What You Need to Have
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Unity
- Experience developing, programming and expanding in depth systems for games
- Experience with gameplay programming and connecting systems with gameplay
- Experience with writing optimized code and being able to review and optimize existing code
- Communicate effectively in verbal and written English, as well as communicate with empathy and patience
- Able to prioritize your tasks and are good at problem solving

Location: Offices in Aalborg, Denmark, or Remote (with possibility of relocation)
